The cons
Even though they have worldwide options, it works best for people based mainly in China who are unlikely to regularly use the insurance overseas or in their home country. Direct billing overseas is patchy to say the least.
No apps or online servicing is available.
Hospitals
Direct billing available at high-cost providers (United Family, Parkway, etc.), private and foreign-funded hospitals and the VIP wards of public hospitals.
A copayment may apply at high-cost providers depending on which plan is chosen.
